Dr. Gregorcyk is committed to proactive prevention with a strong belief in patient education. As an active member of the American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons, Dr. Gregorcyk is a mentor to other colon and rectal surgeons. She teaches courses and lectures at national and local meetings on a variety of topics including laparoscopic surgical techniques. Her extensive experience in fecal incontinence has led her to promote new technical advances in its treatment. Dr. Gregorcyk is one of a limited number of colorectal surgeons in Texas trained to implant the Acticon™ Neosphincter, a device used to treat severe fecal incontinence. She also trains other colon and rectal surgeons to perform this procedure
